Jennifer developed an interest in dentistry at a young age after she spent several years in orthodontic treatment to straighten her teeth. This turned into a passion in high school when she got the opportunity to work part-time in the same orthodontic practice. She also worked in her general dentist’s office as a dental assistant and a dental hygiene assistant as well as helping in several other positions.
After high school, Jennifer attended The University of Texas-Houston Dental Branch and graduated with her license in dental hygiene in June of 2000. After moving to the Nacogdoches area from Houston, Jennifer interviewed for a job at Nacogdoches Dental and quickly fell in love with the caring and friendly staff. Jennifer has practiced full-time at Nacogdoches Dental as a dental hygienist for 10 years. She resides in Nacogdoches and spends her free time with her husband and two sons. Jennifer enjoys providing quality dental care to the citizens of her community.
RDH, Dental HygienistSuzanne grew up in Center, Texas and graduated from Wharton County Junior College Dental Hygiene Program. She has been a hygienist with Nacogdoches Dental since July of 2003. Suzanne stays current with continuing dental education classes – a commitment she takes seriously in order to help patients maintain their dental health. Our patients appreciate her gentle and compassionate bedside manner. She and her husband have two children and reside in Nacogdoches. They enjoy spending time with family and friends.
RDH, Dental Hygienist
Born and raised in Nacogdoches, Candise has made her home here with her husband Edward along with her daughters Emma and Emory. After graduating from Nacogdoches High School in 2005, she attended Angelina College then Tyler Junior College, where she graduated in 2014 with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Candise joined our team in 2014. The one-on-one time with patients educating them on oral hygiene and disease prevention is very important to her. In her time away from patient care, Candise enjoys being with her family and friends, riding horses, gardening and shopping.
RDH, Dental HygienistStacey moved to Cushing in 1997 upon her father’s retirement from the Houston Police Department. She graduated from Cushing High School in 2007 and went on to attend Midwestern State University where she received her Bachelor Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2012. Shortly after finishing college, Stacey moved back to East Texas and married her junior high sweetheart. Nacogdoches Dental was pleased to have her join our team in 2014. Stacey’s love for dentistry grows more each year. You can rest assured that she will do all that she can to help you achieve the smile you want and deserve.
RDA, Office ManagerTonja graduated from Midland College with an associate’s degree in general studies in 2000. She attended Stephen F. Austin State University for a short time before starting a family. Tonja has been at Nacogdoches Dental since 2006. She started out as a dental assistant and is now the Financial Coordinator. Originally from West Texas, Tonja enjoys the forests and lakes of East Texas. When not at the office, she travels with her husband and daughter to visit family and friends. Tonja is dedicated to making sure that all of our patient’s dental needs are met.
Hygiene CoordinatorApril was born and raised in Lufkin, Texas, graduated from Hudson High School and attended Angelina College. She married her firefighter husband, Justin, in July 2007. They reside in Nacogdoches where they are also members of the First Baptist Church. April and Justin were blessed with a baby boy in 2012 and then a baby girl in 2014. April became a part of the Nacogdoches Dental family in June of 2006. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to church and being outdoors. As our Hygiene Coordinator, April truly cares about your oral health and she strives to keep our patients up to date on their routine dental cleaning, exam and x rays.
Patient CoordinatorMelody grew up in Nacogdoches and graduated from Central Heights High School. In 2004 she was class president and voted class clown. She attended Stephen F. Austin State University for pre-dental hygiene. She enjoys scrapbooking and party planning. Melody has an older brother who is serving in the Army and a niece and nephew she adores. Melody married the man of her dreams, Nathan, in 2014. They have two four-legged children named Izzy and Lady, both miniature Schnauzers. Being the Patient Coordinator, she has the opportunity to meet each and every patient, which she thoroughly enjoys. Seeing the smile on a happy patient’s face is what makes her day.
RDA, Dental AssistantTraci has lived in Nacogdoches for more than 20 years. After she graduated in 1997 from Woden High School, she went to school to become a Cosmetologist and owned and operated her own salon. In 2007, she decided to change careers and the door opened for her to join the Nacogdoches Dental team. When not working, she and her wonderful husband Issac, enjoy being a part of their 4 boy’s very active lives on and off the field. Between participating in football and year round baseball there isn’t much idle time in the Anderson house. As a dental assistant Traci enjoys first hand providing the standard of care expected and deserved by the patients. Each patient’s comfort is first on her list every day.
RDA, Dental AssistantCristal grew up in East Texas on Lake Sam Rayburn. Cristal graduated from Woden High School in 2011. She came on board, with our dental family, in 2012. She enjoys weekends on the lake and spending time with her husband, her daughter and her family. Her ability, as a dental assistant, to understand and comfort our patients comes very naturally.

Catrina grew up in Broaddus and now calls Nacogdoches home. She started her career in dentistry in 2007. She joined our team as a dental assistant in 2008. Catrina spent a few years away from assisting to start her family but returned to Nacogdoches Dental in 2015 to once again be a part of our great dental family. When not at work, her favorite thing to do is spend time with her daughter, Cierra and their “fur baby” Claire. Family time along with shopping and relaxing at the beach are just a few more things that Catrina enjoys in her free time. Your comfort during your dental treatment is a priority to Catrina. She goes above and beyond to insure that our patient’s dental needs are satisfied.
Patient Coordinator/RDA Dental Assistant
Grace was born and raised in Henderson, Texas. She graduated from Henderson High School, where she was part of the drill team for all four years. After graduating high school in 2010 she moved to Nacogdoches to attend SFA. Grace became interested in the dental field when she began working for her step brothers during spring breaks. When she’s not at Nacogdoches Dental, she’s usually chasing her daughter around. She likes to be outdoors, search Pinterest for her next DIY project and spend time with her family and friends. She has been at Nacogdoches Dental since November 2016.
